The founders of Everything Hair and Beauty John and Kelly both started in the hair and beauty industry at a very young age.
John began helping in his dad’s barber shop after school in Kensington at nine years of age. Sweeping floors, cleaning up and restocking shelves, the barber shop sold shaving and hair products and also sold tobacco products as barber shops were also tobacconists. By the age of fourteen John was already cutting hair and ordering stock as by this time the barber shop had expanded to also include hairdressing and haircare.
Kelly had a love for all things hair from a young age and by age fourteen began in hairdressing salons after school and school holidays. Once qaulified in both hair and beauty then went on to create her own following for her work in bridal, fashions on the field and formal hair ups.
Then John and Kelly came together in 1997 and successfully ran their salon for two decades while also bringing up two boys in the salon who both are now also showing a passion for the industry. During this time the retail side of the salon grew to a larger scale, constantly introducing new hair and beauty brands that their vision of Everything Hair and Beauty was created.
In 2016 the long-awaited project began in Keilor Park to build the foundations for Everything Hair & Beauty. Our inspiration and the design were drawn from a clean, modern and industrial feel creating a beautiful showroom going against current trends and opening a bricks and mortar store while also having the option to buy online.
It was important to design a space that has something to suit everyone, while wanting to create a better experience in finding all your hair and beauty needs in one place, and to not only buy an extensive array of hair, beauty and barber products but to be able to look touch and feel the latest products and to bring our industry experience and knowledge to everyone.
We are here to help everyone from salon owners, hairdressers, barbers, beauticians and all the way through to anyone looking for the best tools and products.
At Everything Hair & Beauty we are highly experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about the industry, and are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and helping our customers find the products that meet their specific needs.
In addition to our showroom with over two hundred premium hair and beauty brands to choose from, we also offer educational and training opportunities for hairstylists. We believe in the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry, and we want to provide our customers with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their careers.
Everything Hair and Beauty is conveniently located 15km north-west of Melbourne's CBD, just off The Calder Freeway with ample parking right at the front door, with the showroom open 6 days a week.
